The most fascinating (and disturbing) thing I have seen in a while.

Joe pointed this site out to me after we had to take photos for work. Take a close look at the woman in the bikini.

Our mugs are going on to our corporate management team page.

Thank god that we get to reduce, gray scale and other wise photoshop out blemishes. (I won't tell you what I did to mine)

I dare you not to titter!

"That is the biggest hole I have ever put in my mouth!"

(Ah, Tuesday is doughnut day)

Pacifist?

Last Tuesday, I went out to see a movie with my friend Jim.

At dinner we talked, and he started a rant: "Where are the angry people?" We spent most of the time talking about gays, but we wondered where were the angry women, blacks, and Hispanics? Muslims? Athiests? The abstract, intellectual part of my brain is fuming: GW is an idiot who keeps managing to make worse and worse decisions at every turn. What do I do in response? I stick my head in the sand and pretend that I don't notice it. I have stopped reading the newspapers limiting my intake to the top 8 headlines a day on my.yahoo.com

But I realized that is isn't just me. Most liberal people I know are intellectually disgusted with our current government but there isn't much fire behind that revulsion. Why is that?

The simplest, easiest explanation I can propose is that being angry at America is unsexy. I say that carefully -- unpatriotic is one thing but being a mad woman, being a mad homosexual, or otherwise just venting your spleen isn't sexy.. Writing juvenile songs about terrorists is, but making decks of cards opposing the Iraqi war is not.

I guess the best I can hope for is Angelina Jolie telling people about the situation in Sri Lanka.

One of the other issues is that there are no sexy democrats. I mean the repubs have Ahnold, we have Lieberman who is just shy of being a republican. (To boot, the DNC's website also has TWO pop-up ads, which is almost enough to push me into being a libertarian.) I am holding out hope for Howard Dean.

But I am really curious was to what the other Jim, Patitio, and of course Joel has to say on this topic.

Why are liberals limp?
