Stay: Overlooked movie

Stay is a movie that came and went, without much fan-fare. It starred Ewan McGreggor and Naomi Watts, and Ryan Gossling -- a pretty good cast. The story was tight and it was well edited and acted.

I don't have any explanation on why it did poorly in the box office but if I had to guess, I would say it is too intellectual. One of the things that has really endeared me to the movie is its top-notch use of compositing and special effects in a non-action way. It provided a lovely, fluid way of transitioning between the scenes that in hindsight is totally appropriate.

There is one particular scene I can watch over and over again -- I have exercepted it and uploaded it to the server.
