New Product Alert - Cinnabon Cinnamon Butter Popcorn

I am a new product guy (anyone that has seen my gadget collection can easily provide backup testimony) and occasionally I like to try out fad new food products. As a snack for work, I saw (in the discounted-for-quick-sale bin) new Cinnabon Microwave Pop-corn. Any readers of Amy's Robot have duly followed their candy musings (let me boil it down to one line if you haven't been reading: White Chocolate is the Devil's Chocolate.)

Along the same thinking, I thought I would send over the my thoughts on this new food creation.

The basic concept is to one-up Kettle Corn -- the salty sweet combo that I think got a wave of popularity last year. Anyway, in every box is only two packages (normally three) of popcorn, each with its own packet of frosting. YES! Finally, you can thoroughly annihilate any possible healthy aspects of corn by drying it, zapping it with microwaves, coating it in oil, and topping off with heaps of salt and sugar! I love food that takes an otherwise healthy food and kills it. Perhaps the only thing better is when you deep fry "bad" foods like a Twinkie (ooh! Check out the photo in that article!) or Snickers Bar.
