Jumping

I had another dream last night.

I was walking along a road in my home town Albuquerque, and I was walking very fast, almost like a car.

I veered to the right and found myself on an on-ramp, on a freeway. I realized that the stretch of freeway was going up and up, like one of the huge network of highway ramps, I realized I wanted to get off. But I was too far up to jump. I saw another guy walking a little further up.

I said, "I want to get off."
He said, "Jump."
"But it's too high to jump."
"It's an optical illusion. It isn't really as high as you think." And then he jumped, and I saw the ground rush up to his feet, the gap wasn't really a gap but just a slope. He floated down 10 feet, like a leaf.

And then I jumped.
