Because I hitched my blog wagon to blogger instead of moveable type, I don't have handy section to go through recently consumed.

Highlights:

Books
Running with Scissors - Augusten Burroughs. Very surreal and funny stuff. I think I knew him when he went to the University of Chicago. Not sure, though, since most people had similar weird backgrounds. Makes my childhood seem so very normal. Classic line "This was the second time in my life that a Santa-like figure had caused me to enter a hospital for a minor medical procedure."

Music
Pedro the Lion - Good alt rock. Sounds like a lot of other bands I like - they would really fit on the Saddle Creek Label.
