Meat coma
I can feel the meat coma sinking in.
Last night for dinner, M. and I ate at an Argentinean Grill, which basically means enormous slabs of beef. The special we ordered was the "right size for two" and it really was the right size for two families. We easily had half of it left after our dinner.
Which leads me to today's lunch: I ate the whole thing.
My ex-coworker Kristen would refer to the masses of meat that I would eat as "wads." Which sounded like a great nickname for me, as I have never actually had a nickname. Wait, I guess you could call M's term-of-endearment "Piglet" a nickname but that is more a representation of my office.
And as for wads of a different sort, Tom and I saw an extended commercial this morning for Dealmakers, a new dramatic series on ESPN (!?!). Depending on the content, I just might watch. I think this would be the first time I have ever clicked to ESPN. I don't even know what the number is on my satellite.
