Our porch doesn't have wind chimes.

A friend of mine makes great CDs. He is a real master of beat mixing and matching, but his aesthetic sense is sometimes lacking. I sometimes help him with his covers -- for example, I did a draft of the cover for Dominator 2001 (which for I did my version or an alternate one).

He called to see if I would be around so he could give me his latest, Dominator 2003 (mixed for IML of course). I was out with a friend, so he was just going to drop it off in the mail slot.

He called an hour later. "How close are you with your neighbors?"
"Huh?" I asked.
"I accidentally dropped your copy off in your neighbors mail slot. I thought your mail slot was on the left, and I realized as I put it in the door that it was the wrong house. I put the disc in the house to the west of yours."
The woman to my west is 62 and single.

When I got home, I saw that she was driving up and I asked her if she got a CD dropped in her mail slot. She chuckled. "When I got it, I wondered if someone was trying to tell me something." She handed it over, no fuss no muss.
